Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Log into your dashboard at app.adacertify.io and confirm your plan includes white-label features. Go to Account > Subscription and look for White Label or PRO in your plan name. If not included, contact support to upgrade.
-
Navigate to Widget Settings in the left menu, then click the Branding tab.
-
Toggle off Show ADAcertify Branding. The powered-by badge will be removed from the widget on all sites using this widget configuration.
-
To add your own logo, click Upload Logo in the same Branding tab and upload a PNG file (recommended size: 200 x 60 pixels). Your logo will appear in place of the ADAcertify logo inside the widget panel.
-
To customise widget colours to match your brand or client brand, go to the Appearance tab in Widget Settings and update the primary colour, icon colour, and background colour using hex codes.
-
Save your changes and reload your website to confirm the branding has been updated. Clear your browser cache if the old branding is still visible.
Common Questions
I have the Agency plan but I cannot find the Branding tab.
The Branding tab appears under Widget Settings only for plans that include white-label. If it is not visible, your current plan may not include this feature. Contact support@adacertify.io to confirm what is included in your purchase.
Will removing branding affect how the widget functions?
No. Removing branding is purely cosmetic. All compliance features, automated fixes, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support remain fully functional.
Can I set different branding for different client sites?
Yes. Each site in your dashboard can have its own widget configuration. Go to the specific site, open Widget Settings, and apply the branding for that site independently.
Troubleshooting
Logo not appearing after upload: Ensure the image is a PNG file under 2MB. JPEG files may not render correctly in the widget panel. Re-upload as PNG if needed.
Branding changes not visible on the live site: Clear the site’s cache and CDN cache if applicable. Branding changes take effect immediately in the widget configuration but may be cached by the browser or a CDN layer.
✅ Pro Tip: Create a branded accessibility statement page that matches your widget branding. Clients are far more likely to keep the widget installed long-term when they see their own logo rather than a third-party brand on the compliance tool.
